lunch - Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2p.m.
dinner - Tuesday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m.

Juniper kitchen and wine bar features a contemporary menu, drawing on new and old world cuisine to create an innovative New Canadian Cuisine. In developing our menu, we draw on the offerings of the distinctive cultural communities which are becoming the diverse and eclectic flavours of Canada. Juniper interprets this cultural culinary mosaic for our contemporary kitchen.
Juniper kitchen and wine bar offers a unique à la carte menu, with some items changing each week; the entire menu will change over an eight week period. Juniper?s menu is selective, offerings include fresh fish, shellfish, red meats, poultry and the most inventive and flavourful vegetarian appetizers and entrees found in the capital region.
The foods which we serve are all cooked from scratch in our kitchen. All desserts are created by Juniper?s Queen of All Things Sweet, Jeanette Abe. The smoked fish, meats and cheeses, are smoked in house. The chutneys and flavoured oils are also homemade in our kitchen (and soon to be available at our take home table).
Wine is a significant component of Juniper?s menu. The award winning wine list, which continues to evolve under the direction of Stephane Desjardin, comprised of nearly 100 selections, draws extensively from new world wineries. Recently the list has been augmented with selections from European vineyards. An extensive by the glass offering makes food and wine pairing a pleasurable experience. Juniper?s commitment to food and wine has led to monthly wine dinners which focus on themes, regions or winemakers.
Juniper kitchen and wine bar is committed to creating a seasonally and regionally inspired menu, reflecting the produce harvested in this region. Juniper?s suppliers include many small organic growers and individual foragers, who harvest wild and unique produce.
